RV-4 Is Gone

The new owner of N721JK picked up the RV-4 today. Before I left for Colorado, I went over and took the broken prop off so I would have a little memento of the airplane since I have no logbook entries of it.

Here are some photos of the process. I sure wish I had the chance to fly (or ride) it.

The RV-4 is on eBay

My RV-4 is officially on eBay Motors. Check it out by clicking here.

After this last guy decided after three weeks that being in Idaho just doesn't work for him to get it, I am going to do a 7 day auction and whoever gets it, gets it. I'm tired of dealing with tire kicker after tire kicker.

Hopefully someone who knows they want an RV-4 can finally get one without so much time wasting. Good luck, bidders!

Update @ 2:45pm: I got a call from a guy in SD and he wants to buy it. Sold! I love eBay.

Kaden in the RV-4

Kaden and I went to the airport this morning to show the airplane to a guy that might end up repairing it for another fellow. After he left, Kaden and I went back to grab the paperwork and let him get a feel for the RV-4. I think he liked it. So do it. I have the feeling that I'd rather fix it and fly it instead of sell it. I hear it's a "hoot" to fly.

Here are some photos of Kaden screwing around in the rear cockpit.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Baron that got flipped over in the windstorm. It was in the hangar right next to mine.
