I got home this morning at 3:30 from the Cleveland Airport. We did the security trade show where we had a Suite at the Wynn and a rental house on Via Terra down off Eastern and Robindale. It was pretty nice, but I have my complaints.
Some things I did: ate my first In & Out burger, ate at Del Frisco's, ran only once, went to "Light" at the Bellagio, ate at Cravings at the Mirage and then did the trade show suite.
Here are the very few photos I took with descriptions.
- driving to Cleveland on Monday
- Albert with a performer at the Venetian
- my first In & Out burger (I now know where they get the name)
- me in our Venetian Suite (which wasn't very sweet)
- Albert's 34 oz. Kobi bone-in steak at Del Frisco's
- our 1:15am snack at TI's "The Coffee Shop" cafe
- a view from the Mirage's valet pick up area
- on the way home in first class (free upgrade)

Sunday Outside - 78F
After a 4.6 mile run, Kaden came out to kick the soccer ball around. He also digs wearing his sunglasses. If it's bright and he doesn't have them, he'll let you know with a "hand visor" until you get his shades. Pretty funny.

Kaden & Brandon At Bob Evans
After a 3.6 mile run this morning at the YMCA, I went home and showered. I picked up Kaden from grandma and grandpa's house and took him to Bob Evans while Laura slept. Since there was a line, we snuck through and sat at the counter. Kaden did good without a booster seat and sat there until the end without fuss.
Of course, he was the center of attention with all the waitresses.

AV Cabinet Finally Done
Well, the Sanus cabinet finally came in this week and I got around to putting it together tonight. Here it is in place under the Vizio 50". As you can see, I need to tidy up some wall plates and add the backing to the cabinet. I'll get to this soon, but we have company coming tomorrow and I wanted to have the "coffee table AV stand" gone.
For the record, I bought the Sanus cabinet from B&H Photo & Video. It took over 4 weeks to come in, but that was due to Sanus; not B&H. I also ordered the Sanus Tilt Mount for the plasma from B&H and it got here in a jiffy.

Back To The Skies!
I finally got another flight today since the flight last month. Weather and vacations have been hampering my ability to get in the air. I haven't flown hardly at all in 2007. I'm not on a good track to log 100 hours this year. Oh well.
Anyway, it was CAVU today with 12 knot winds out of the NE and 40F. Beautiful day to fly!
I took off out of Bluffton and headed south and did two touch-and-go's at Lima. Jim was there with a student. They did a take-off and then landed and never heard them again. Not sure what that was about.
I then went to the practice area and did some steep turns, left and right, and then a power-off stall. It went well.
Quick loop around our house and then back to the airport. It's good to be back in the air!

Kaden & Daddy In The Car
These are actually from Feb 25th, but I thought I'd finally take them off my cell phone. Not sure where we were. Not sure where we were going. Kaden was acting funny though.

More Progress - Finally!
I've hit somewhat of a plateau lately with my weight between 204 and 208 recently. After a 7 mile run after work (and breakfast and lunch), I finally saw 203 pounds. Whew! I thought I wasn't going anywhere. With the last couple weeks, I haven't been eating the best, so it isn't suprising.
Back on the train!

March + 73F = Grill Out!
It has been in the 70's lately, so we thought it was time to bust out the grill and see if it still works. Tank - On. All three knobs - High. Lighter - Click. We have flames!
We cooked some boneless chicken breast with Red Pig Inn BBQ sauce lathered on top with a bit of honey. Oh man - YUM.

Park Play and Run
After Kaden's nap today, we headed to the park near our house for some play and run. Kaden and Laura played on the big playground sets.
I ran 3.2 miles around the reservoir and then around the paths at the park. That uneven trail running on the reservoir really put a hurt on me. I must still be on vacation. My total run distance for 2007 is 152.6 miles.

Cruise 2007
Well, we are back and mostly recovered from our trip. We did the Western Caribbean cruise through Royal Caribbean. We were on the Navigator of the Seas boat and sailed out of Miami, FL. We hits the ports of Labadee, Haiti; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. We had two days "at sea" as well. It was great.
We ate well. Service was great and the weather was pretty great 98% of the time. Besides enjoy the beaches and water, we climbed Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica and went snorkeling and sea kayaking in Cozumel.
You can check out all the photos by CLICKING HERE. There are a bit over 100 photos there that I picked out of 350 or so. Descriptions and such are included. Enjoy.

Can You Tell The "Before" And "After" Photo?
If not, you're fired. heh heh heh...
Anyway, I took a cell phone picture of me one morning last week and thought I'd do another comparison from a photo from mid to late 2005. Yikes!!!

I weighed myself yesterday and it was 203#. I'm down a total of 48 pounds from my highest of 251# or so. Ugh.
The goal is still 190# or so.
