Colorado Trip - Day 2

Today dawned rainy and gloomy. (Why does it rain every time I'm here?) John and I ended up going for some Amber Boch around 10am and started on those right away. It was going to be a good day.

We headed to the wedding around 1pm. It was down the canyon at the Viestenz-Smith Park on 34. It was very nice and the rain started right after it was over. We all headed back to the house for cake and fun. John's father brought his 81 year old fire engine over for a little drive. Sweet!











After watching a little football, we ended up eating dinner at the Outback Steakhouse and watching OSU whip on Texas. Woohoo!!

Colorado Trip - Day 1

I left Lima this morning around 9am to head to Detroit for my non-stop on NWA to Denver. I stopped at UT to visit Whitney for a bit and check out the dorms. Kickin!

I made it to Denver OK, got my rental car and headed up to Loveland. We ended up going to an Alan Jackson/LeeAnn Womac concert at Red Rocks. It was a pretty sweet concert. Alan Jackson always puts on a good show. This was probably my 4th or so of his.

After the concert, everyone was bushed and it was off to bed...

Kaden Eats An Apple

Kaden decided to eat a whole apple by himself. What a cutie!

Kaden Chugs Water

Kaden and I were outside playing earlier and I got out a bottle of water. He must've been thirsty because I gave it to him to get a drink and we went to town! He was walking all over with his mouth all the way over it and tipping it up for a little drink and a big back-wash session.

Way to go, Kaden!

After this last guy decided after three weeks that being in Idaho just doesn't work for him to get it, I am going to do a 7 day auction and whoever gets it, gets it. I'm tired of dealing with tire kicker after tire kicker.

Update @ 2:45pm: I got a call from a guy in SD and he wants to buy it. Sold! I love eBay.

Kaden in the RV-4

Kaden and I went to the airport this morning to show the airplane to a guy that might end up repairing it for another fellow. After he left, Kaden and I went back to grab the paperwork and let him get a feel for the RV-4. I think he liked it. So do it. I have the feeling that I'd rather fix it and fly it instead of sell it. I hear it's a "hoot" to fly.

Kaden Plays With Ceiling Fan Remote

Kaden got ahold of the ceiling fan remote and went to town. He sat in there for quite awhile playing with it. After that, he went running around with it turning on/off the lights in the bedroom. Might have to get him one for Christmas. NOT!

This morning at breakfast with daddy, Kaden was really using that spoon to eat his cereal. He was also in a mood to make lots of faces once I busted out the camera. I don't know where he got that from.

Grill Out with the Szuch's

We had the Szuch's over tonight for some Rudy's burgers on the grill tonight. Mmm...

They brought over some raspberries and cool whip to go with the brownies that Laura made. Kaden & Ilona ended up eating the cool whip straight-up and then was playing on the foot-powered vehicles Kaden has. Fun night!
